Solitary bone cyst

aka Unicameral bone cyst


Benign fluid filled cystic lesions. Only one in differential which is central, usually asymptomatic, commmonly in the humerus and calcaneus. The fallen fragment sign is pathognomonic, when a cortical fragment breaks off and sinks to dependant portion.

Exclusively in those < 30 yo.
