Pilocytic astrocytoma

- Cystic cerebellar mass with enhancing mural nodule, but can occur supratentorial
- Typically 5-15 years old
- Most common primary brain tumor in children
- Can cause obstructive hydrocephalus (compresses 4th ventricle verus Medulloblastoma which arises from 4th ventricle)
- Should also consider Hemangioblastoma in young adults, PXA, ganglioglioma
