Hepatoblastoma

Malignant embryonic hepatic tumor composed of epithelial cells and occasionally a mesenchymal cells.
- Painless, large, well-defined, heterogeneous liver mass in an infant
- Calcifications in up to half of the patients
- Most common hepatic malignancy in children
- Elevated AFP in more than 90% of patients
- Poor prognosis

- Hepatocellular carcinoma (Hepatitis B or aflatoxin exposure)
