Hepatic hemangioma

Benign tumor composed of vascular channels lined by a single layer of endothelial cells supported by a thin fibrous stroma. Most common benign tumor of liver. Second most common liver tumor after metastases. May be multiple in up to 50% of cases.


Appearance on CT

Peripheral nodular enhancement on arterial phase with slow progressive centripetal enhancement isodense to vessels.
