Epiploic appendagitis

(aka EA, appendicitis epiploica, hemorrhagic epiploitis, epiplopericolitis, or appendagitis)
Epiploic Appendagitis is a benign self limiting disease that presents as right lower quadrant pain and is often identified on CT with the clinical suspicion of appendicitis. Patients can have elevated WBC and fever, disease is self limited and symptoms usually resolve in 3-7 days.
