  • Acute - mimics pulmonary edema
  • Chronic - revese of edema with peripheral consolidation, photographic negative of edema
  • BAL demonstrates eosinophilia, can have peripheral eosinophillia
  • Rapid response to steroids
  • Patients present with dyspnea, fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss
  • Can mimic BOOP/COP
